Ghost Rider - A Stitch in Time
After the first night of Nicholas Cage's character (Johnny Blaze)turning into the Ghost Rider, he is stitched up by the graveyard caretaker. The stitches are on the backside of Blaze's left shoulder. Later that same day, Blaze is putting on a shirt in front of a mirror. When he turns around you can quickly see his shoulder in his reflection on the mirror, however, there are no stitches visible in the reflection.

First off, he never should have needed stitches. He survived crashes that should have broken every bone in his body, yet he walked away without a scratch. However, the disappearing stitches can be explained; with his new "powers" he obviously heals very quickly, so his body either absorbed or dispelled the stitches.
