During the scene where Peacher is swimming from the shark in his kitchen and towards the oven, you can clearly see during this and subsequent shots that the water level almost covers the entire window of the oven. However, when he climbs in to escape from the shark, the water does NOT flood into the oven, leaving it completely dry inside. Even if he opened the door only a crack, some water should have flowed in from the sides.
