In the Battlestar Galactica Pilot, and movie, a Cylon Raider ship can be seen before their fleet is discovered by Apollo and Zack. The "spying" Cylon ship appears just after Apollo and Zack leave the Galactica on their patrol. After they hit turbos, one Viper banks to the right of the screen, while the other flies straight. Look at the bottom left of the screen. A cylon Raider appears briefly behind the left ship, then disappears. This was probably a recycled scene from another part of the episode/movie, as Glen Larson was fond of saving money on effects.
