After Val Kilmer and Ashley Judd had an argument, the scene where Kilmer slept over at McCauley's(De Niro's) beach house. Kilmer wakes up and sits down by the window. Kilmer's left (I believe) elbow appears to have a strange dangling growth on it. This growth on his arm does not appear anywhere else in the film. I can find no logical plot explanation for why it is there, or why Mann decided not to keep it hidden from the view of the audience if it was not supposed to be in the script. If anyone has information on this, I would be greatly appreciative if they would email me the story behind this.
