Jurassic Park - What About the Power?
Towards the end of the movie when Dr. Satler turns on ALL of the power to the whole compound, she is attacked by a raptor. She somehow hurts her ankle and limp/runs out of the power house. When she pulls the gate closed, you can see a sign that says Danger, Electric Fence (or something like that). If all the fences where on, why didn't she get zapped?
Also, in the embryo storage when Nedri is stealing the embryos, the word Stegosaurus is miss spelled. They spell it Stegasaurus.

If I remember right, there is nothing on the fence (lights, like the dino fences or specific signs) to indicate the fence itself is electrified. There is a warning of High Voltage, but that would be for the equipment in the bunker. Besides, if the fence WERE electrified, how would anyone ever get in unless the power was off? And out again when it came back on?

machyne, Shell is right. Dr. Staler is able to get through the fence the first time because the power is turned off. She then goes into the Bunker and turns the power back on. When she comes back through the gated fence, there is a sign that says something to the affect "Danger, high voltage".

This would not mean the fence is wired up as high voltage. It means whatever is beyond the gate contains high voltage (the place she goes into to turn the power back on), as this is where all the power is centralised. If you entered a building like this anywhere else, it would have signs warning you of what the building contains. Although most of these in domestic places say it on the door (this does not mean the door is rigged up and going to "zap" you... just a warning to let you know of the dangers inside!)

Consider: if the power was on and the fence actually was electrified, how would maintenance people be able to get in? Jump? :)

This is another thing - when sattler is running back, she is dragging her foot because it's attached to the torch on a wire/rope. Now, is you look at the scene as she limps along the gangway, the wire is real long - but when she slams the door to the maintenance building, there's not enough time for the torch to get through as well. And what happens to the torch when she fruns through the gate in the fence??????If it's not a slip-up, then someone explain what happened to the torch!!!!!
