Spongebob Squarepants - What About Patrick and Water?
On the episode where Sponge bob is at his grandma's proving that he isn't a baby anymore, when he is leaving for work then comes back in, Patrick disappears. And also, after he cries it is showing his tears making water even though there is already water there. And when his grandma sucked the water out with the plug, why did she do that and how? Wouldn't it suck all the water and why would she suck the water out if they need it?

They do that so that they characters appear realer. Doing the trick with the water gives the illusion that they are not underwater and not sea creatures.
