At the part where Clayton (Farrel) has just been shown that he is not actually been kidnapped, he is leaning against the wall holding the jacket in his hand. Now if you watch the jacket carefully, you see him drop it. After he has dropped it, it moves to the next frame, where Burke (Al Pacino) is talking. He talks for about two seconds and then it goes back to Clayton (Farrel). You can see he is obviously holding the jacket again, and there was no time at all for him to pick it back up again.
