Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Two Axes?
In Fangorn Forest, Gimli, Aragorn, and Legolas Hear "Saruman" approaching. They whirl around, Legolas and Gimli chuck an arrow and an axe respectively at Gandalf, who swats them away with his staff. The camera changes to show the three shielding their eyes the light coming from Gandalf. Gimli is covering his eyes with the same axe he chucked at Gandalf.

Gimli has two identical single bladed axes in addition to his double bladed axe. There is a clear shot of Gimli holding both of these single bladed axes just after Aragorn says "Do not let him speak. He will put a spell on us." He throws one at the White Wizard, and is still holding one while being blinded by the light.

This is going to sound really predantic (?) but, why would legolas "chuck" an arrow when he has a perfectly good bow to "shoot" an arrow from. Sorry.
