Reservoir Dogs - Major Bullets
I'm no expert on guns, but when Mr. Pink is being chased by the cops in the getaway scene, he uses the car as a shield and fires at the cops. I counted over thirty shots fired from Pink's gun alone.
Also how did Mr. Brown die? He said the cop shot but where he was conscience before Mr. White killed the two cops in the car. Did Orange have something to do with it. Did he get shot in the head? If so he's really really lucky.
One last thing: it's not really a blooper, but when nice guy Eddy is talking on his cell phone, about a setup he runs over an orange balloon (foreshadowing about Mr. Orange?)

9mm's can hold as many as 19 shots if I'm correct... that's approximately how many Mr. Pink fired in that scene. Remember that the cops are shooting in this scene as well. Mr. Brown died from a gunshot wound to the head, that was probably received in the store. He survived to make it to the getaway car (yes.. you can survive a gunshot wound to the head), but succumbs to his wounds in the car. Notice how he was driving funny, and having trouble getting the car into reverse? When Mr. Pink approaches Brown in the window, Brown says "I can't see, I got blood in my eyes, I can't see". Notice all the blood dripping down his forehead? The orange balloon is either a screw-up or it is not. Who cares? I've run over balloons in my car before. This is like criticizing the fact that there are dead bugs on the windshield.

ok here you go first of all count pink's shot he fires well over 19 shots. Watch it and count it before ytouu p[ost anything on this site. Another thing you are saying that brown died from a gun shot wound in the center of his head. Yeah people can survive a shot to the head but I dont know too many people who can get shot in the head go to a car start it and drive and still be able to talk, the reason he cant get the car in reverse is because he hit the car in front of him and locked bumpers. So before you start ranting watch the movie one more time. You are wrong and you have no idea what you are talking about. Sorry.

Alright, I guess I'm the mediator again! Hey, maybe you are both right! All I know is that Deadcat was doing fine criticizing the principal comment, but all respect was lost when it was said "Mr. PINK talked to Brown at the window"! It was obviously Mr. Orange...and ewikit just whines too much! Those were good healthy criticisms and we can only learn from them...or else you could just go at it like Eddie and Toothpick Vic in Daddy's office. Tell me that little scrap wasn't for real! I mean they went down hard-the chair almost did a full flip!

This is just a thought, right, but since both Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are very self-conscious homages to timeless, comic strip worlds, can't we justify the number of shots simply by saying it makes a better scene and Mr Tarantino prefers it that way? I don't mean this as a non-answer. I'm thinking in terms of the impossible number of shells we see falling from the guns in The Matrix - obviously in there because it's supposed to be a computer-generated scene and what we're actually watching is simply a multiplayer game, albeit a deadly one, and therefore it can be any way that seems best. Surely reality is one thing, and Tarantino movies are quite another?

For supposively being a big, tough police officer, Orange didn't seem prepared for how intense things would get. Even though he's supposed to rat everyone out, I don't think he necessarily wants to see them all die. Watch him after Brown dies, Orange becomes almost totally incapacitated by that. White realizes this (probably adding to the sympathy he has for Orange) and pushes him along until they find the other car. And after Orange spontaneously shoots the lady who shot him, he realizes what he did and he starts to cry.

In response to goelectric's comment, I believe Orange's shock is a result of seeing Mr. White gun down two of his fellow cops, not at Mr. Brown's death.

If you look at the scene as a whole you can see that it was Mr. Orange whom shot Mr. Brown.

While Mr. Pink Doesn't Fire 30 shots from his 9mm, He does fire 21 shots(counting the muzzle flashes, not the sounds, since the cops are firing too.) The Maximum amount of Rounds the Gun he has can hold is 20, Which consists of 19 Rounds in the Clip, and One in the chamber(you can put one extra bullet in most handguns by loading a clip, chambering a round, Then Ejecting the clip and putting another round in it, though with some Guns this may overcompress the Spring)

For some reason, in all of Tarantino's films, the people have what I refer to as "Tarantino-Guns," or Law Enforcement-issue Beretta pistols with bottomless magazines.
