When Greg Focker is talking on the pay phone at the restaurant about themissing cat, his future wife's dad comes in to talk on another pay phone. Greg moves the phone from one ear to the other and turns away from the dad so that he will not know what Greg is talking about. The phone is now on his left ear, and the audience can see it clearly. Then it shows Greg [while talking on the phone] from the other side. The audience can see the phone clearly, and the phone is on his right ear.
