Dogma - Loki Dead? Not Dead
During the scene where God (Alanis Morissette)is walking through the street in front of the church where all of the dead people are, she stops right to the side of the "dead" Loki. When the camera starts to zoom in on God, you can see Loki's right foot move like he's trying to get up. Now to my knowledge, people who've been dead for five minutes aren't supposed to be trying to get up...but maybe that's just me...

Loki is not and cannot be dead. If you watch carefully when Bartleby stabs him, it is between two ribs, either causing internal bleeding from a major organ, such as the stomach or liver, or puncturing a lung (which is what I think happened since Loki did not cry out). While his drunken state would cause him to pass out from either instance, neither wound would be immediately fatal. Depending on which one happened, it would take at least an hour, if not several to kill him. However, as far as the movement goes, I'm willing to bet that Kevin called "cut" and Damon began to get up before the camera stopped, and in the editing room it was either not noticed, or deemed irrelevant since Loki isn't dead anyway.
