Right, go to the part where Kano is eating at the big table and talking to Goro about Shang Tsung.

Watch closely whenever they show a close up of Kano, and you will see a goblet on the table.

Just before Shang Tsung appears, Goro walks over to Kano and knocks the goblet off of the table. Straight afterwards, when they show another close of Kano looking a bit scared about it all, the goblet is back just where it was. It's quite obvious to notice.
