Towards the beginning of the movie, Ellie says that her father died when she was 9 years old. Then later, when she is on the plane with the old guy who figures out how the "pieces" go together, he has "done his homework." However, evidently nobody else did. He says that Ellie was born August 25th, 1964 and then he says that her father died on November 10th, 1974. I may be mistaken, but doesn't that make her 10 when he died???
