Cannonball Run, The - When Did Roger Finish the Race?
At the end of the movie, Roger Moore is one of the people tackled by Burt Reynolds so Captain Chaos can win the race. But, after the girls that drive the Lambo punch the clock, it goes to a scene where you see the rest of the drivers who didn't finish the race show up or are just finishing. One of the cars that pulls up is the car that Roger Moore is driving.
If you watch the ending, you'll see that Moore has a lovely little blonde on his arm, after the cars pull up. The camera cust to the Subaru and the cab. The girl has just enough time to get out of the car and run over to him.
Also think of this: If it was a foot race, that means no cars could get thru, right? Yet, 3 cars show up, meaning that the cars were moved out of the way.
