AS they fly the helicopter into New York City, we see the torch of the Statue of Liberty stick out of the water -- indicating a water level of about 250 feet (about 18 stories of a building). Next we see it pass the World Trade Center, which is about half submerged -- indicating a water level of about 50 stories or about 700 feet.

(We've ignore that fact that the WTC even exists in the future, since who would have guessed that it wouldn't? However, the events of 9/11 do give a possibly explanation for the above: The WTC could be replaced with an exact replica which is only 1/3rd as tall -- but then it would be shorter than the building around it)
