Crow, The - Wardobe Change
During the original script, Eric became vulnerable when he helped others. After helping Dar la with her heroin problem, he was to be cut by Fun-boy which would cause actual wounds. In an act of toughness, Eric wrapped up the cuts on his stomach with electrical tape. While that was all cut out for editing, the tape wasn't and can be seen inexplicably wrapped around his body for the second half of the film.

I always thought he did that just to mend the holes in his top from previous fights or what ever.

even though the scenes where he was injured by fun boy were cut out, they left the electrical tape in his costume to pay homage to the original graphic novel.
