Drew Carey Show - Trench Coat Mishap

Watch the episode of when Drew and Kate go to the planetarium as a like anniversary date. (It's where they first met as little kids).

Anyways, Kate is confessing to Drew all the things that she did that was crazy in her past relationships. She mentions that one of her ex's wore a trench coat and only a trench coat when he picked her up at an airport one time. Well, as a like "crazy" thing to do on a date, Drew went to her house for a date wearing a trench coat and only a trench coat. *At least that is what he implied.* Now I know that he is REALLY not going to do this, BUT he at least should have maybe taken his red dress shirt, white shirt underneath that, and his pants off to give it some effect.

You could literally see his clothes on and everything. And it killed the comedy, because He was acting like he was naked and stuff. Did anybody see this? Please post if I'm wrong!

monib writes:: Have you ever heard of dickies? they're like fake turtle necks, they just show the neck part and they arent a real shirt. just a small portion of it. well, thats what I assume that it was, same with the pants (well,not all of the pants, just where the trench coat ended down) It was something done to fool the characters in the show(kate, kates grandparents) that he was actually wearing something underneath it, but much to their surprise it wasnt! :); 15 of 6577 found this helpful.
