Major League - Scoreboard Slip-Up
Near the end of the movie in the Top of the last inning when the Yankees are up to bat, and Harris gives up a walk, the manager comes to the mound to take Harris out of the game the scoreboard says:
Yankees: Two runs, 7 hits, and 0 errors
Indians: Two runs, 7 hits, and 0 errors.
Then when Willie Hayes is up, the Yankees remove their pitcher to bring in the "The Duke". When he reaches the mound, they show the scoreboard in the background, it now reads:
Yankees: two runs, 9 hits, and 0 errors
Indians: two runs, 8 hits, and 0 errors.
The scoreboard added two hits to the Yankees hit total, and added one hit to the Indians Hit total. Well, if your saying they might have added the hits at the end of an inning, well that may be true, but the Yankees should have 8 hits because Harris walked two batters and gave up a double. The Indians have two outs when The Duke enters the game, but when Tomlinson hits the long fly ball before the Duke comes in, nobody is on base, so they could not have had 1 hit on two outs if nobody is on base.
