Patriot, The - Where Did That Come From?
When Mel's son shoots the colonel in the arm, blood shoots out. The colonel falls, sword NOT in hand. When the son goes to stab him, he raises up and guts him with the sword. His hand was under him. He never moves. How is it possible to pull that sword out.

Actually....he fell without the sword. Then if you watch closely, his arm goes out and then it goes back under him, but I don't know how he got the sword back.

I'm a civil war re-enactor who has worked with a saber set up very very similar to the one the colonel is wearing, it's pretty easy to pull the saber out of the scabbard from that position while turning over.
