Bedazzled - Weird B-Ball Hoop

Watch the scene where Elliot is the hoops player. When he dunks the ball and the backboard shatters, it shatters AFTER he lets go of the rim. But, when they show the replay, the rim shatters BEFORE he lets go of the rim.
