Alice in Wonderland (1999) - 8 Wonderland Slip-Ups!
1. Notice that the white rabbit is about a foot taller than Alice. He can run through the rabbit hole standing up completely, while Alice has to duck/crawl.
2. In the circular hall, Alice tries all the doors but one. (besides the one she came in)
3. In the circular hall, when Alice grows large, and she is supposedly "stuck" she actually isn't stuck, she had enough room to fit another one of her in the other side.
4. In the circular hall, when Alice is "stuck" she some how is able to reach down and grab the tiny white rabbit's gloves, and somehow get her humongous hands in to those tiny gloves. How is that??
5. When Alice is in the rabbits house looking for his gloves, she finds a bottle (a drink me) and if you notice in the mirror in front of her, her reflection is frozen in one position.
6. At the white rabbits house, in the garden, whenever he falls down from when Alice pounds her hand, he always falls on NEW glass! Notice how the glass magically comes back in to place before he falls again!
7. When Alice is getting chased by the puppy dog outside in the rabbits yard, she picks up a twig about as tall as her, and hurdles it probably about 1/4 of a mile and somehow the huge dog that's over 50 times bigger than the stick goes after it.
8. At the Tweedle's house, one of the Tweedles are actually wrongly accusing the other of of breaking the rattle, because he had the rattle to begin with.

Most of these are not necessarily slip-ups. Remember it was all just a dream! Besides, why do you think they call it "WONDERland"? About the mirror, that could be a slip-up, but remember that mirrors in Wonderland can also be a passage. The director may have put it on purpose to make the mirror look magical. Anyway, good catches.

All right: Alice in Wonderland is purposefully inconsistent. It is an acid-induced fantasy world. Nothing is supposed to make sense. Almost all of those 'slip-ups' were purposefully orchestrated. Except for one, I think: When Alice is stuck in the dome, yet she OBVIOUSLY has tons of room. That was just cheap.

1. The rabbit is obviously shorter than Alice when they meet up later in the movie, so maybe the heigth thing is merely a matter of perspective. 2. Well...OK..I can see that. Probably that's just an error they saw as too expensive to take care of, having to re-shoot the scene needlessly and all. 3. That, as someone said earlier, was merely a cheap mistake. A TV station isn't going to have as fabulous special effects as say, a movie productions company. 4. This *is* a dream world..do normal things happen in your dreams? If so...I'm sorry. 5. The mirror freezing is obviously on purpose. It would be impossible for that to have been a mistake.... 6. Another one that I can see as an error. 7. Again..this is a dream world.... 8. They're petty and not prone to paying attention. Of course they would falsely accuse each other!!!!!!

1. every one changes size in wonderland, the rabbit is no exception. 2. Maybe she just didn't feel like trying the last door, the rest were duds, why would this one be different? (did you really sit and count all the doors and then count how many she tried?) 3. she is "STUCK" in the room, not in the standing position. there is obviously enough room to move around. she is stuck because she can't leave the room. she is standing up pushing on the roof saying "I'm stuck" because she is pushing on the roof trying to get out that way. 4. like is said before, she is not stuck in the standing position she is stuck in the room. also it should be obvious by now that size doesn't matter. and besides, they are wonderland gloves, maybe they are super stretch. 5. the frozen mirror "is" intentional. this one is the most obvious, why would the filmers of this move take time to freeze the image if they didn't want it that way. watch this sean again, and remember, this is wonderland. 6. he falls in different places each time. if you look there is a whole row of those glass things and each time he shatters a different one. 7. dogs are more than 50times bigger than flys and they still chase them. 8. if you notice only one of the two has a rattle so the other accuses him of breaking his, (and that is why there is only one now and not two) and besides, they are brothers, they'll fight over anything. 9. you obviously have no imagination. watch the movie again, you'll see that most of these are not slip-ups, and as u watch it remember, THIS IS WONDERLAND, anything is possible....

"Poor Alice! It was as much as she could do, lying down on one side, to look through into the garden with one eye; but to get through was more hopeless than ever: she sat down and began to cry again." from the original text.. clearly Alice was big enough to lay/sit down, she was just far to tall to fit through the door.

"As she said this she looked down at her hands, and was surprised to see that she had put on one of the Rabbit's little white kid gloves while she was talking. `How CAN I have done that?' she thought. `I must be growing small again.' She got up and went to the table to measure herself by it, and found that, as nearly as she could guess, she was now about two feet high, and was going on shrinking rapidly: she soon found out that the cause of this was the fan she was holding, and she dropped it hastily, just in time to avoid shrinking away altogether." Again from original text.. as you see, Alice does put the gloves on. I think you must properly know the story before you say such things.
