Shawshank Redemption, The - 19 Years?
Andy Dufresne came to Shawshank in 1949. Somewhere in the movie, during the final scenes, someone says he was in for 19 years. After he escapes, Red said it was 1967. It was 1967, it would only be 18 years.

Man, Andy came in 1947. Read my comment on your other one. It says the exact same thing.

Sorry to say, it was actually 19 years. Count them,1949-one,50-two,51-three,52-four,53-five,54-six,55-seven,56-eight,57-nine,58-ten,59-eleven,60-twelve,61-thirteen,62-fourteen,63-fifteen,64-sisteen,65-seventeen,66-eighteen,67-nineteen. Nice try on that one, but you need to do the math. The movie did not say when Andy entered or left the prison to determine the 19th year. If it had, it would likely be 18 years.
