In the chase scene near the start of the film watch closely. You will notice Cruise is driving a left hand drive car, when he goes into a spin (after a crash) you will notice he is now driving a right hand drive car. Plus you will also notice that the license plate is around the wrong way. Some muppet must have flipped the film!!!!!
I read on some website that there were some rig mixups and the cars did not spin the same way in the previous scenes and they had to reverse the film to make it seem like they did. Apparently the closeups of Ethan and Nyah were also reversed so they had to do their movements backwards... Not sure how true this is, but it seems logical.
