Simpsons - A Man of a Different Color
In the episode Bart's comet, Ned Flanders has been kicked out of his own bomb shelter. He's alone on the hill when suddenly everyone in the bomb shelter felt bad and decided to go join him and die with him. Ned starts singing to himself when everyone appears on the hilltop. But let's see that scene again! One of the people coming up to join him is Apu, but he's not his normal brown color. He's yellow! Wow, what happened, did they run out of brown or something?

Well, I have a very simple answer for this. For some producers to save money or time, they produce a frame faster by making almost everything the same color. Having APU the same color as everyone most likely saved a lot of time them painting him brown. was this helpful enough?
