Dumb And Dumber - Lloyd's Reading Ability
I know that Lloyd can read. But, as you may recall, he had a lot of difficulty reading the newspaper. He didn't just have difficulty with the word "the." After Lloyd finds out that Harry is seeing Mary behind his back he puts that Ex-lax stuff in his tea. He reads perfectly off the bottle so something similar to this: "One teaspoon for fast, effective relief." How could he read that so perfectly?

That is a good point. Wow, well maybe he just remembered it from a commercial. Probably not, so that is a great slip-up!!!!

It sounds, to me, like he's quoting a commercial, since he's got the voice down.

He didn't read it off of the bottle. He held the bottle beside him and started mocking the people who would advertise the product on TV.

He was just mocking a commercial. Now what I caught was, how did he read the newspaper on the wall about landing on the moon as he left the hotel lobby bar. He seemed to read that in an instant. Although you can't blame that on the writers. cause Jim Carrey came up with that himself. Goodbye.
