Actually I think this is a slipup because how can they be three different things when they are the same kinda food...maybe the people who dub this show should make up their minds about what they want them to be!

In fact, those rice ball thingies are a traditional Japanese food called Onigiri, which is rice stuffed with meat, fish, or vegetables and wrapped in seaweed. In japan, they refer to them by their real name, but due to cultural differences between America and Japan, they renamed them "Donuts" or "Popcorn" or something else, so that kids in the western hemisphere wouldn't be dreadfully confused with what was going on. I do admit they choose some ridiculous things to call it, though... @_@

Yeah. I've noticed that. Also, in a more recent episode, Brock had sandwiches that were the exact same thing as the doughnuts, riceballs, etc.
